When I joined the board of Black Girls Smile, the organization was expanding its reach while navigating the realities common to many mission-driven nonprofits: limited resources, growing demand, and the need to make thoughtful decisions without losing sight of purpose. My role has centered on helping leadership slow down just enough to create clarity—translating big-picture vision into actionable priorities and supporting more intentional decision-making at the board level.

By bringing product and operating thinking into governance conversations, I help leaders examine tradeoffs, align around what matters most, and put simple structures in place that support both people and programs.
